Making sure that chickens are Salmonella-free takes a lot of labor.

A key component of food safety is avoiding Salmonella, a naturally occurring bacteria that can result in severe food poisoning and, in the worst instance, a prolonged illness.
Salmonella-free chicken products are available from Slachterij Miki Hunsel BV. Food free of salmonella is produced using these five basic steps:
The farmer requires the day-old chicken to be Salmonella-free.
Food, bedding, and water should all be free of salmonella.
The chickens should be shipped in an environment free of Salmonella.
All the way up the production chain, there should be continuous inspections.
In the event that Salmonella is discovered, action will be taken right away.

The farmers deserve much of the credit for having chickens free of Salmonella since they put in a great deal of effort to prevent the infection from spreading across the flocks by upholding stringent hygienic regulations and behaving thoughtfully.
Salmonella is a typical intestinal bacterium found in nature. Beef, pigs, poultry, and eggs may all contain it. Additionally, some pets, raw vegetables, fruit, and fish may have the germs.
There are around 2,500 different types of salmonella. That instance, cooking at temperatures between 70 and 72°C is too hot for the bacteria to tolerate.

Campylobacter

Campylobacter

One of the most important aspects of food safety is avoiding Campylobacter, a naturally occurring bacteria that can cause severe food poisoning. For years, we have been fighting Campylobacter. In short, the aim is to stop the Campylobacter bacteria from getting to the chickens that are healthy from birth. Guidelines and standards for disease prevention for chicken farmers are among our contributions to the ongoing study on the battle against naturally occurring pathogens in live chickens. Campylobacter is one kind of bacteria that is frequently seen in the natural world. In addition to contaminated drinking water, meat, unpasteurized milk, and other foods, it can also be found in animals, birds, and pets.
